Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using Ridura, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the app.

Use of the App

Ridura is a fuel management app with two core functions:

  1. Personal fuel management — store vehicle details, manage fuel QR codes, and track fuel economy. This data is stored locally on your device.
  2. Community fuel map — view real-time fuel availability reported by the community, compare fuel prices across brands, and contribute reports to help other drivers.

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

User Responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter or submit, including:

  • Vehicle information, odometer readings, and fuel records stored on your device.
  • Fuel availability reports, station edit suggestions, and location corrections submitted to the community map.

We do not verify or validate the information you provide. Submitting intentionally false or misleading fuel availability reports undermines the community and may result in your device being rate-limited or blocked.

Community Contributions

When contributing to the community fuel map, you agree to the following:

  • Reports should reflect genuine, first-hand observations of fuel availability and queue conditions.
  • Location corrections should reflect the actual position of a station.
  • Edit suggestions should provide accurate station details.
  • You will not submit automated, scripted, or bulk reports.
  • You will not attempt to manipulate fuel availability data or abuse the reporting system.

All contributions are anonymous and linked to a random device identifier. Contributions are subject to rate limits and proximity checks to maintain data quality. We reserve the right to discard or deprioritise reports that appear anomalous.

Device Verification and Security

Ridura uses device attestation (Apple App Attest and Google Play Integrity) to verify that requests come from genuine app installations on real devices. This protects the community data from abuse.

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app or its communication with our servers.
  • Circumvent device attestation, rate limiting, or other protective measures.
  • Use the app's data or API for purposes not intended by the app.

Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time from the app's Settings. Upon deletion:

  • Your device registration is permanently removed.
  • Your fuel reports and corrections are de-identified (the device link and your location data are removed). The fuel availability data remains to serve the community.
  • Your edit suggestions, notifications, and other device-linked data are permanently deleted.
  • All local data on your device is erased.

You can re-register at any time with a fresh identity and no link to your previous account.

Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and branding in Ridura are the intellectual property of Leafy Code International (Pvt) Ltd. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on this app without prior written permission.

Fuel Station and Data Disclaimer

Ridura is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any fuel station, fuel distributor, or government authority. We are not responsible for any issues arising from interactions at fuel stations, including but not limited to QR code acceptance, fuel pricing, or station availability.

Fuel availability data shown on the map is crowdsourced from community reports and may not reflect current conditions. Fuel prices are sourced from publicly available information and may not be up to date. Always verify availability and pricing at the station.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Leafy Code International (Pvt) Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use Ridura. This includes but is not limited to loss of data, inaccurate fuel calculations, incorrect fuel availability information, or device-related issues.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be reflected in the app. Your continued use of Ridura after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
